We not only want to make a better cup of coffee than you'll find anywhere, we want to make the world better. We try our best to do this by serving only the finest coffee that conforms to Fair Trade and organically grown standards. If this means traveling to Guatemala to hand select the beans, we do so. Our coffee is always fresh, too. In fact, every coffee bean used and sold at the café is roasted the same week. Our baristas then take it to the next level, creating memoriable, distinctive drinks with artful precision. We expect that you will find our presentation and service to be the exclamation points to our quality. We recognize that the search for a better world begins at home. That's why, through a partnership with La Terza Coffee, we are able to generate funds for the Foster Care Enrichment Council. This terrific local group provides programs, entertainment and scholarships that the foster families and government cannot provide. A full 10% of our coffee sales are donated to this program. And La Terza Coffee donates 10% of the sales we provide them to social service causes around the world. Rohs Street Café was founded in 2003 by University Christian Church as a not-for-profit business to provide the community a space for gathering and dialogue. We want our café to bring people together in a way that fosters friendship, idea sharing and mutual respect. Somehow, coffee tastes better when there's music in the air. It's another sense that's stimulated. Another way to relax. Another way to enjoy the company of others. We offer live, local and national acts every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. And you'll find an eclectic range of performers and bands, from jazz to bluegrass. Coffee never sounded so good. |
