Each summer Cincinnati welcomes over 200 pianists from around the world to compete in the prestigious World Piano Competition. For twelve days in July Cincinnati becomes the center of the piano world as young soloists from all over the world convene for The World Piano Competition, vying for medals, money, and the opportunity to perform in some of the most prestigious venues in the world.

Many past champions of the World Piano Competition have performed with orchestras all over the world, and received recording contracts with some of the greatest labels in classical music.
