WE NEED YOU TO WALK IN SUPPORT OF FOSTER CARE!Clermont County foster care is participating in the first annual national walk for foster care. Walk Me Home…to the place I belong is being put on by the National Foster Parent Association. Clermont County is proud to be a part of this ground-breaking event supporting foster care. Proceeds from the event will go to the National Foster Parent Association, the Ohio Family Care Association, and the Clermont County foster care network. The walk will take place on Saturday, May 10th at 10:00 AM (check-in begins at 9:00) at Veterans’ Memorial Park in Union Township. We will have activities for the children, a variety of displays and booths along with a cook out following the walk for all walkers and foster parents. We will also have a live broadcast from 97.7 The Max FM along with raffles for a variety of cool prizes. We will also have a blue ribbon tree to represent the miles walked in support of foster care. Please show your support to the over 500,000 foster children and the adults who love and care for them. Join a team and walk or sponsor a walker and help us spread the word.
