This unique 5K run, walk or crawl begins in the dark of night, the Friday before Halloween on the corner of Dana and Woodburn Avenues near Xavier University, winds through spooky Walnut Hills Cemetery and back to an all-out Halloween Bash complete with one of the most fun costume contests, live music by Forehead, drinks, food and fun! This one-of-a-kind event developed by the Greater Cincinnati Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 1991 and has raised over $1.3 million since its inception for vital CF research! Sixteen years later, it continues to be a huge holiday draw averaging a crowd of 2,500. |
